Chemtura Announces Prices Increases for Urethanes

Effective August 15, 2011 or as contracts allow, Chemtura will increase prices for its Urethane products as follows:

North America: Up to $0.15 per lb for urethane pre-polymers and $0.25 per lb for specialty curatives.

Latin America: Up to $0.35 per kg for urethane pre-polymers and $0.55 per kg for specialty curatives.

Asia-Pacific: Up to $0.50 per kg for urethane pre-polymers and specialty curatives.

This price increase is necessary given the continued escalation of raw material costs.
